Stir Fried Noodles Recipe – Վերմիշելով Փլավ – Heghineh Cooking Show

Stir Fried Noodles Recipe by Heghineh
Back to childhood favorites : stir fried noodles , or as we call it in Armenia Vermishel pilaf. This was that one dish, that I’d eat without anyone asking me to, and as a picky eater, there were only a few dishes like this one.
Now my children, my extremely picky eaters, can eat these stir fried noodles every day, if I make it.
And to be honest, I’ve been extremely busy past few weeks, and this quick and easy dish was my timesaver.
After posting a picture of my vermishel dinner, on my instagram and Facebook pages, I’ve got a few questions as if how it’s made. I was sure everyone knew how to make this exact stir fried noodles, and wasn’t even planning on doing a tutorial.
But, there’s always a first time for someone and if you’ve never made or ate Vermishel pilaf, than let’s make it and enjoy!

What an interesting way to cook pasta. Does it turn out "al dente" or softer?

I grew up with this too. We call it fideo. We add a little garlic, onion and tomato right before we add chicken broth. I will try it with yogurt next time.

I meant to ask is that electric frying pan a new kitchen appliance for you? Seems you have been using it a lot recently. It's a good idea for demonstration cooking because it is closer to the camera and we can see what you are doing better.
