RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp potato starch
vegetable oil
(tomato rice)
1 cup uncooked rice
230ml water
1 large tomato
1 tsp instant bouillon
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
pepper
(filling)
8 mini sausages
100g mixed vegetables
1 potato, cooked and mashed
5 cherry tomatoes
200ml demi-glace sauce
10g butter
parsley

LET’S GET COOKING…

Boil the sausages and cut in half lengthwise. Saute mixed vegetables with butter and butter a 15cm cake pan. Set these to the side.
Combine all ingredients for the tomato rice into a rice cooker and mix well. Cook the rice according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Once it’s done, cut into the tomato with your rice paddle and mix well.
Combine eggs, salt, pepper and potato starch in a bowl and mix well. Grease your frying pan with some oil. Pour 1 ladle of egg mixture onto your pan and swirl the egg around to create a round and flat surface. Cook both sides until fully cooked. Make a total of 5 sheets of very thin omelette.
Place a sheet of egg omelette on the bottom of the cake pan. Arrange the sausages on top, followed by some tomato rice. Place another sheet of omelette, topping it off with mixed vegetables and more rice. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used. Top off with the last sheet of egg omelette.
Carefully invert onto a serving place and decorate with mashed potatoes, cherry tomatoes and parsley. Serve with demi-glace sauce.
