  1. What if you put the chocolate in a ziplock back and add the bar and sit it in the freezer to settle.

  3. I'm excited to try this. I have a bag of shredded coconut so I will try using that. I hope the measure will be the same as the flaked. Seems more shredded would go in the cup but if so it will still be good.

  4. gotta try this I just bought some shredded coconut this will surely satisfy my sweet tooth thx for sharing guys have a great day!

  5. So I'm thinking to avoid losing the almond, maybe try breaking up the almond and mixing it in with the coconut? And, of course, without the almond, it would be a Mounds bar! Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate and heavy cream would probably set a little quicker than using than the coconut oil.

  15. These are fantastic! I'm going to try some in a silicone mold that has squares to keep the chocolate on top and the almond in place. Thanks for sharing!

Insert a toothpick in the coconut cluster before you put them in the freezer, it would make dipping them in the chocolate easier and could then just pulled out.

If you shake the can of coconut milk well before you open it, it'll be a nice even consistency throughout. 🙂

  21. These look about ice cube size So I think an ice cup tray would be prefect to make this. It would keep the chocolate in place.

Thanks for doing this recipe–Almond Joys are my favorite & have been missing them. I think when I make them I'm going to chop the almonds up & mix them in with the coconut to get almond in every bite–will still put an almond on top too to look pretty much like the original Almond Joy
