GolGappa Recipe | Pani Puri Masala | Indian Food Video | Easy Cooking Recipes

Ingredients for GolGappa Puri –
• 100 grams of semolina
• 1 teaspoon refined wheat flour
• 1 pinch of salt
• Soda water
• Oil
Ingredients for GolGappa Masala –
• 3 boiled eggs
• 50 grams boiled chickpea
• 1 tablespoon boiled sprouts
• 1 teaspoon rock salt
• 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
• 1 teaspoon chaat masala
• 1 teaspoon dried mango powder
• 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
• 1 tablespoon coriander
• 1 teaspoon salt

METHOD (For GolGappa Puri)
• To start with put in a big bowl semolina, refined wheat flour, salt and mix well. After mixing keep adding soda water in bits and prepare dough. For puris hard dough is needed. After preparing dough cover the bowl and keep for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes flatten the dough in round shapes. Flatten the dough in a thin layer so that it becomes crispy when fried. Take a round mould like a metal bowl and make several small round shaped (puri) flattened dough from the big one. Approximately 30 flattened dough (small round shaped – puri) can be prepared from this quantity of dough. Keep the round shaped (puri) dough in a hollow plate and cover with a wet cloth so that the dough doesnt dry up. Similarly make such small flattened round dough (puris) from the remaining dough left.

• After making round shaped dough (puris) from all dough prepared start frying process. Put only 3-4 puris in the frying pan so that it fries and balloons well. Fry the puris on medium flame till they turn brown so that they become crispy. Once all the puris are fried remove them on a plate. Similarly fry all puris in the same fashion. After preparing puris start masala preparation.

• For masala preparation mash the potatoes in one bowl. Add chickpea, sprouts, rock salt, chaat masala, dried mango powder, cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder, salt, coriander and mix well. Puris and the masala is ready. Next make a small hole on top of the puris and stuff the masala prepared into the puris. Once all pruis are stuffed with the masala serve with GolGappa Pani.
