SHRIMP CEVICHE with CITRUS | easy, light and healthy

This shrimp ceviche is Mexican-inspired with a California citrus flair. It’s amped up with oranges and grapefruit, along with cucumber, red onion, jalapeño and cilantro for a bright, light and delicious shrimp ceviche recipe.

Shrimp ceviche is perfect for spring, summer and Cinco de Mayo (which is right around the corner) as it’s a light, easy and healthy recipe. Make sure to read the full blog post (linked below) on why I parboil my shrimp when I make this recipe, but I don’t when making fish ceviche. Enjoy!

  4. Ceviche from Peru! But traditional CEVICHE without avocado, not orange, not grapefruit, not cucumber. Only onion with Peruvian rocoto (Chili)👍. Of course the people invented others recipies .

Hi, found your channel and looooove it, trying to eat cleaner, but usually only eat once a day (bad i know😔), could you please do more videos like your “meal prep 9 ingredients for flexible healthy recipes”. I love that style of mela prep, as i cannot eat the same food everyday, and also if you could do healthy breakfasts as this is a meal i never eat. Thank you – love from the UK❤️

  12. We're heading into Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere at present, so I can still sneak this in. I have a few kilos to lose and this looks like a good go to. It's Sunday early morning right now and real foggy, enjoy spring-time, I'm so jealous ☺.

Excellent video as always. Also love the music choice.

  14. Great recipe 😊 that white part from oranges is the most healthy and should be eaten but it's so bitter 😒😁

My daughter and I make a traditional ceviche which we love but we are definitely trying this. Looks so light and refreshing. Plus we can incorporate local south Texas citrus! 🍊

Thank you Lisa! I almost skipped this video because I really don't trust shrimp "cooked" with acids. So glad you showed the step where you pre-cooked the shrimp, it made a huge difference for me as I am a little paranoid about food born illnesses. I will definitely be making this! Yummmm!

  17. This looks so amazing! I’m going to have to save this one for after I give birth!
