7 tbsp all-purpose flour (140g)
17 fl oz milk (500ml)
5 oz granulated sugar (150g)
9 oz butter (250g), at room temperature
2 lb chocolate-coated orange cookies
4 oz finely grated coconut
Semi-sweet chocolate, melted
Stir flour in 4 fl oz milk.
Warm the remaining milk in saucepan on medium heat. Add in granulated sugar.
Add the flour mixture and simmer, stirring with a whisk until thickened.
Spoon into a medium bowl. Set aside to cool completely.
Add the butter to the bowl and beat with mixer until combined.
Spoon the filling into dessert decorator.
Place the cookies, chocolate-side up, onto flat surface and frost half of them with the filling.
Sandwich filled cookies with remaining cookies.
Roll the sides into the finely grated coconut and drizzle with melted chocolate on top.
