  5. More great meals ☺

  6. Delicious. One of the perils of being a good cook is that everyone puts an order in. Lol. I love your meals.

Great job well done! I particularly liked the look of 'Sunday's' salmon dinner for Danny's Birthday. Yummy! I did mash potato the other day. Instant pot 8mins, quick release (small amount of Welsh potatos) then mashed by hand. Added milk on saute, then butter and used a hand held electric wisk (the flexible ones, an attachment that came with the hand held blender) and it was sensational. Bit of salt and pepper. (Turn saute off, it's just to allow the milk to heat, saves heating on stove)

I don't know how to ask this with out it sounding rude but I'm so curious. Why doesn't your mum eat the same meals and you prepare ? I only ask because I was always told it was polite to eat what the host made you but obviously i don't want to be offensive incase there was a medical reason or something 🤔 as I say just curious. Food always looks amazing I'd jump at chance to have these meals prepared for me every night 🤤

  10. Hi Helen. Birthday greetings to those who had. Great looking meals. Hope you have a relaxing week.

Hi helen,Im from Australia and have been watching your channel for ages.I love your cooking and meal planning.Maybe you could do a freezer challenge where you use up all your current frozen food over a month or so .This way you can save on grocerys and use up older stuff. Also the 1 meal leftovers can be used as a different meal for all of you-like a fake away.Just a thought but iI think this challenge could be fun.I bet others would like to see this too.Youre lucky you are so close to your Mum,I lost my Mum 4 years ago and Mothers Day is a sad one for me.Thanks for sharing your family with us,Im a pommy too.Take care,Foxy.

  27. I totally understand why you go to the trouble of cooking a different meal for your Mam, I do the same for my Dad who is in his 80's. At the end of the day, as a child, my parents would never have insisted that I ate food that I did not like (we would always give it a go but if it's not for your palate then it's not for your palate). It's nice to show the same respect to our parents as they get older. None of us would like to have to eat something that we don't like, at the end of the day we all have different tastes. Your meals always look delicious Helen. X
